Was on my way home from scarborough tonight and i was doing about 75mph, road is a 60mph zone but tbh it wasnt a silly speed for the road!

anyway there was a rapid response vehicle on a 999 call and it come steaming past me was easy hitting over the 100's and then off a sudden this fiesta ST just come hammering down and overtook the ambulance on a 999 call!

what kind of nugget does that!

I think your reading the MK/h part of the speedo. 100 KM/H is actually 60MPH Elliot. MPH are the BIG BOLD numbers.

There again, the Punto only dose 85 (Down hill) and at that speed sounds like the engine is going to blow and the car shakes so much, it shakes my pen from my sun visor.

60MPH MAX speed from now on!

what car are you saying wont show 100mph on the speedo? my girlfriends 1.0 4 gear ax shows and indicated 115mph on a straight 2m downhill section of road. The speedo's not out by too much either, ive dirven that round hundreds of times over 100 and i can gauge it from other traffic quite well. Cars do go a fair bit quicker downhill!

although tbh if your limited to 62 and on the motorway you cant get annoyed at people overtaking you considering the limit is 70. :y:
