New Progress For Black VTR :)
 

TThought i would start a brand new progress thread since i wrote my old Saxo 1.1 with body kits, i have now just bought a 1.4 VTR. I wrote my old saxo off in the ice and hit a lamp post at 20 MPH and done too much damage. I am planning on a few big mods and a few more little mods, might go for a two tone. I am breaking my old saxo so i have alot of parts going as a donor car for the parts i want.

It cost me just under £1000, With 68000 on the clock. Year is 2001 and came with 12 months Tax & 11 months MOT! It is fitted with a tracker, Cam belt was recently changed aswell. Induction kit, set of alloys but one is damaged. Good condition interior but exterior has 1 dent but thats not bad as we have a friend that will do it for next to free!

lose the lexarse lights lol. i think you should lower it first. looks like a good clean car. whats the insurance like on the 1.4 vtr's? same as a furio??

Yeah want some jewels, but i payed £30 for them from ChrisRitchVTR And he mugged me off :@. So waiting on that now i guess :/. Urmm its not bad, about the same as my old car tbh :).

As soon as i get it to my mums house i will rip it apart and use my old saxos parts :)
Need to know how to swap my rear windows over tho :/

Im going to get some smoked jewels :) And im going to do a two tone same as Sneakydevil89's old Saxo :) And will lower it, upper + Lower strut brace. raceland enclosed kit :) and will do some other lighting inside and out :)

Today i started clearing it out, looked at the sub cables in the back but there is no power so ill look at that tomorow, prob dodgy wiring :/.
But i put my rear side windows from my old saxo on to it. Now i want the rear window :/

Found something in the car! A COCK RING! :L What a joke!
But yeah theres a bit going on with it atm, Will post pics in next few days with a few bits :)
Due to the weather i CBAAAA to do anything much to the car :(....

Looking for some cheap Smoked/Tinter Jewels & Some decent front angels :)
Also got some bonnet raisers but not sure about them :/ Told they wont look good on Mk2's?

yea a lot of people only say bonnet raiser's only look good on mk1, as mk1's look more aggressive anyway whereas mk2's and more rounded and a bit girly (not saying thats a bad thing btw, next vts i get i want a mk2 lol) so therefore they dont suit mk2's, anyway its a nice car, what sort of alloys are you using?

Urmm well on my old sax i have some bk alloys :/ not sure what but im looking to get some white vtr alloys :/

yea vtr alloys will look ok (well better than the hub caps lol) if u can afford it i think some mutispoke team dynamics would look good in white, id deffo get some white wheels, maybe white lenso rs5's or vts?

I was looking at team dynamics the other day, really nice :) But i want white wheels yeah :)

Finaly got my push button start fitted :) I have to wire the ground up better because it sometimes has trouble :/ All needs is better grounding point. Heres pic of fitted button :)

yer yer, i no the one, yer whats up with the driveshafts? can fit new ones if needs be etc. yer i no the one, down by the vauxhall garage. You may of seen me floating about tbh, used to have a mk1 vtr, sitting very low posi blue with yelloe cage and badges, black vtr wheels. if you need a hand drop me a pm or wtv

Also got the smoked jewels fitted on tuesday too :) Very nice.
Also should be getting lowered on the weekend and upper strut brace :)
Then waiting on Ge Quick Shift to arrive then should try fit that :) Smoked side repeaters fitted also. Alot been going on thennn.....fitted my old alloys off the white 1.1 :) They fit on fine but couldnt use old spacers :/ But it looks like its sat a little lower and also looks nicer than hub caps :) haha. Any other opinions or anything? Pics should try get up tomorow :)

De-wipered it today, couldnt get the wiper arm off so had to saw it off lol. But it fine :P Here is it finnished...

Also got my alloys off the old car put on :P Really look better than the steelies :)...

Painted rear badges white, really like them :) Also got smoked jewels :P Love them...

I cant, i havnt got the kit to do it. Not even a bucket anymore. Moving and dad took all the stuff to his new house. Mum hasnt got any lol. I am buying some when we have moved though dw :).

Got the new exhaust fitted :) Sounds nice and i quite like it :P
Drove it home everything seemed fine, next day lambda sensor and down pipe cracked and left a huge hole. Turns out it was corroded all the way through! :(
Any way got it all fitted and fixed now and included replacing broken lambda.


Also gave it a bit clean and polish the other day while sun was out :) And finaly got the black standard fuel cap done :)



Hammy came and niked my old dampers off the white Mk2 for a while till he has another set. So a little pic :)
