Well had a go at the bumper today first of all took the grinder to it and chopped out the the top so it will match the bonnet ;)
witch i will fiber glass and filler flat ! need to do some more on each side then make some custom brackets and it wont be far off !!

saxo_ron 25th February 2010 16:38

Really interested to see how the front bumper turns out

Regan 28th February 2010 21:45

.

Rite small update : i have made 4 custom brackets out of metal so there nice and strong ! 2 each arch and 2 in the under each headlight , got it sitting nice and sturdy :y:
i fiber glassed the top where the bonnet meets the bumper and started to fill and smooth off . just a small gap at each side of the wing and alot of prep work to do :n:
what do you think should look good when its finished !

Yea looked into this and like the front it can be done with a bit of work ! im getting a pugsport exhaust so it would solve the problem of it not lining up with the vtr rear cut out !
its just alot of work tho and need to get cracking getting the 16v in but i wont rule it out tho maybe one for the future ! :y:

Denno09 6th March 2010 19:35

Regan 7th March 2010 19:05

Also the guy i bought the engine off said it had just under a grand spent on it and i found the l.a.d stamp witch is nice to see, ill get the receipt off him so i know what has been done. What ya think ?

Mines a 1.6 8v vtr and the engine that im putting in is out of 106 gti thats had some head work done so it will be loads faster for me ! :A:

as for you it will feel like a whole new car youll really feel the difference in power even if you put at 8v engine in as there abit cheaper. ive been running a 8v for 3 years and there not exactly slow did me fine! or put a 16v in if your after that bit more baarp lol
hope this helps

shaunsvtr 13th March 2010 17:00

luke1988 13th March 2010 17:05
