Hey guys! only joined here earlier this week and i finally got my vtr :D
its 2003 with 37000 miles! completley standard ;)
Anyways this is how she looked today before i got stuck into her :P












After alot of elbow grease and 6 hours this is how she came up....












and then of course de-wipered and t-cut the badges :D



Plans:
Fit my alpine headunit and door speakers
Fit xeoen bulbs
Lower 60mm
Exhaust system
Spray alloys either black or gunmetal grey
Smoked clusters and repeaters

car is a beaut! dont mess around too much with it would be a shame to ruin it with dodgy mods lol but your plans sound good keep it simple

yeah dont plan on doing much body mods, want to get it sittin nice and subtle then start with the engine mods ;)

very good price.... id be well happy with that !, if ur going 60mm just go steady and avoid BIG speed bumps n you should be fine, good luck with the plans buddy n keep us posted

ano took me ages and havnt even started inside! :panic:
yeah got a few plans mate, lower, exhaust, smoked clusters, will see how the funding goes. Will be slow until i get the corsa sold thou:n:

dont worry too much ive been down 60mm for a while and i havent done any damage just take speed bumps slowly and some times do them at an angle lol

nice lookin car mate done well for what ya paid for it ;)
future mods sound good aswell :D

small update :) got my alpine headunit fitted and got the inside well cleaned. The boy must never have lifted the seats or boot carpet in his life lol



Also tried fitting the alpine speakers but they are too deep and are catchin the window ever so slightly when its down so need something about 4mm thick to bring it out more, was thinkin dynomat. Also need to remove doorcard to hide the crossovers somewhere neat.

Got the xenon bulbs fitted too but no pictures :wall:

next on list, sort door speakers and lower :y:

i lowered my vtr 60 mm on some vts alloys havent had any problem yet so might be ok mate... looks much better after a good its a shame other people cant be bothered to clean their car once and a while haha

can't wait to get it lowered now!

These are the speakers that will be going into the door :P as you can see they have a huge magnet so will be needin a few hours to get them in nice and neat



Shocks and springs have came today :D so hoping to get them fitted tomorrow
Although im a bit confused about the front shocks :S
There is nothing to bolt it to the car nor is there anyway to mount the spring :panic: Is this the way they are or has the worng set been sent out?

ignore what i said about the shocks lol thought about it and noticed i was being an noob! lol just too used to vauxhalls haha

lowered 60mm front and 70mm back
Fittted strut brace
Rear smoked jewels
smoked side repeaters










still to do
*paint callipers same colour as car
*waxoyl under car
*fit door speakers
*fit mudflaps
*purchase and fit exhaust system
*paint alloys black

It came up a treat after the wash. Always think saxos look good in icelandic :)

snow over here has stopped me getting anymore done atm fgs :( but got corsa sold :y: so time to buy more for the saxo :A:
