Car History & Progress:
I have this car since 2008, it came to me full stock with110.000km.

The first mods were a Raceland induction kit with green filter, center exhaust pipe (50mm) with no cat ,a supersprint magnum backbox and an ECU Remap doing 7800rpm.

Here it's a photo with my privious car, a swift 1.3 Gti in mate black.

Then i've lowered a little bit with eiback pro-kit and change the brakes to 266mm.

Black wheels...

After a few months i've change the head gasket to the C2 (raise compression) and polished the head and the throotle body

A few millage after...the piston ring were not seeling so good...so i've rebuilt the engine.

The engine was rebuilt with Gr.A 12:1 wossner pistons,
Raceland 4-2-1 manifold
Fast Road clutch
55mm center exhaust pipe
New backBox with 55mm interior
Newman ph3 cam
New ECU Remap

Then...changed the shocks to GAZ and the springs to Eibach sportline (-50mm)

A few weeks ago i've lightned the flywheel, and changed the Underdrive and alternalor pulley and changed the headlights for this ones (The angel eyes are not connected, i don't like to see it on).

Hope you like it :)

Regards from Portugal! :)

I really don't know how many HP it has...but the car it's very fast :)

I'm very happy with the result of this modifications!

As long as it drives well, that's the main thing. :)

Out of interest, did you have any trouble with the alternator belt squeaking after fitting those pulleys? I have them on mine with the belt almost as tight as it goes and find it squeaks occasionally. :/

cenas 14th April 2010 10:56

Looking really good mate :) Thought you weren't allowed to modify cars in portugal, or are you being sneaky? :P

Ahhh never knew you could actually modify cars over there, thought it was an all out total ban on mods.

Yes, you're right.

In portugal everything it's banned.

If we get busted by the police the car is "arrested" and goes to very a special inspection where the car must be full stock to get approved.

We also have to pay about 215GBP + inspection

:(
