jstroudy 9th May 2010 22:04

bad thing when i bought it was a knocking noise on the steering when was stood still so i took it to a garage and they told me was the shocker so instead of buying a standard 1 i bought a full spax psx 40mm kit and is now fitted

and thats what it looks like

right this is a shit way to start a thread lol load up stupid pics!!!!!!!

jstroudy 9th May 2010 22:24

right the stuff i have done to it are blue side light bulbs, full spax kit 40mm, sportex decat manifold, sprayed alloys, colour coded brake calipers and wheel bolts, refitted the standard air box and air filter, new track rod end, drop links, wishbones with polyflex bushes and i think thats it that i can remember.

plans;
lowering back end 50mm (should be this week)
maybe a race centre pipe not sure yet
k&n panel filter (on the way should hopefully be fitted sometime this week aswell)
smoked jewel rear lights (or a nice black tint sprayed by myself)
smoked side repeaters (also might spray them myself depending on the cash that i have)
after the performance upgrades are done im going to get a dyno reading so i know what has been gained so far and then go from there with weather im going to get it cammed or just remapped (not 100% sure yet which to do due to money and time of getting the cam fitted and remapped in the same week)
and lastly lighter and balanced flywheel with uprated clutch kit and uprated gear linkage bars

ye mate well seems to be better on mpg anyways when i 1st put it on i was low on petrol so i topped it up with some 97 octane petrol and its done around 160miles on half a tank so just need to see how many more i can do with the bottom half of tank now. prob be around another 100miles and ive been rassing car aswell with the exhaust blowing so to me its doing really good :y: and manifold was in the old manifold mate only thing i have restricting the power now is the silencer and the normal air filter but i have a k&n panel filter on way and will be giving the standard air box to air intakes :)

jstroudy 16th May 2010 15:26
