then everything was fine
now its over heating :wall:

good luck mate.............:y:

MathewVTR 14th June 2010 23:52

I know the feeling mate. I had a VTR until about 2 months ago. I had to give it up as I moved out of my parents house and into my own flat and could no longer afford to insure it.

I bought a 1.0 Corsa C (Ins Group 1) in its place and I detest everything about it. The gearbox even locks up completely every now and again coming out of 2nd gear so I have to skip it and go straight to 3rd :(

Gordi 14th June 2010 23:53

trade it in ul get 3k off a new car:) i reccomend a fiat 500

kc-saxo 14th June 2010 23:56

1.0 corsa haha, ever driven the 1.0 corsa bs ?, slow as hell struggled to get above 50 with a mate in the passenger seat

johnlambert 14th June 2010 23:57

haha you have a corsa!!
bad luck though really!!

Dom 14th June 2010 23:58

Ouch, Ever thought of just throwing it in the bin?

Darren-8- 15th June 2010 11:27

You need to have a saxo

Jenson 15th June 2010 11:32

Why do Corsas have heated rear windows?

To keep your hands warm when you're pushing them.

Nothing wrong with corsa's

SWeekes 15th June 2010 15:06

Get a saxo :)

Meto 15th June 2010 15:09

Whats the mileage on the Corsa? Might be the time when stuff starts needing to be replaced at roughly 60k etc.

DannyVTS 15th June 2010 15:09

Corsa's are good cars to be fair

With every car there's going to be the odd one that goes wrong, thats life tbh!

DannyVTS 15th June 2010 15:14

daz_zz_er 15th June 2010 16:42

What is it Corsa A,B,C or D??

waynaldo1 15th June 2010 16:46

saxos are also prone to problems, i have had 2 VTR/ and 1 VTS
and all 3 have cost me too much money to keep them going,
Current VTS has had 18 problems from drive-shafts to suspension arms
need replacing and now i just found out both my front brake discs are starting
to rust, i really like and want to keep my VTS till im a old man and they
become rare but i feel might be time to get ride lol

how fat was your mate? or did you just leave the hand brake on ? they do perfectly fine and are no slower than a saxo 1.0 (ive had both)

as for the reliability ive had one for a year done 20k miles and only 1 issue

johnr32 15th June 2010 17:11

I love corsas!

JOKES! i think their ok

I had a a corsa B 975cc classed as a 1.0l and fuck me it was the slowest thing in the world!

BBM 15th June 2010 17:16

yeah they are not fast but mines never struggled picking up speed until abit over 80mph.

have you tried the the 1.0 saxos? it felt horrid tbh (hence why i got rid ) on paper i think its supposed to be quicker but it doesnt feel it when driving it but outside the sax did look nicer though just everything else was bad

Well my 1.1 saxo seemed loads faster than my 975cc corsa, i had a 106 1.1 aswell after the corsa and also seemed quite a bit faster. Do miss my beast of a corsa though. Is yours a 975cc or actually a 1.0l?

yeah the the 1.1 is abit faster but the have more power and are lighter so it should be but stil at teh end of the day slow lol, and its classed as a 1.0 but yeah its just under that, but i think all cars are like that tbh every single one ive looked at is just under what its classed as not that it really matters much

My 106 and saxo were actually 1100cc i think and thats the only cars ive ever had that are actually classed exactly right, my 306 is like a 1390cc classed as a 1.4. I only learnt to drive in my corsa then got rid of it so never got a chance to rag it to see what it could do lol but i liked the look of it i will find a picture for ya :)

daz_zz_er 15th June 2010 17:47

Heres my old beast :) Was my first car.

lemon191 15th June 2010 17:58

love that blue , must admit even though i own one im not a massive fan of the frotn end of the corsa bs or the rears tbh love the corsa c though, i had it the other way aroudn to you learnt in 1.0 saxo got rid then got the corsa mainly because the saxo had manual everything and the corsa was a gls model ps,elec windows mirrors etc) so in comparison alot nicer to drive day to day always meant to get another saxo but dout i ever will

tom130691 15th June 2010 19:07

its a B on 96k
when i got it sunstrip gone side repeaters now white

DannyVTS 15th June 2010 19:09

my C was nice tbh

Phsyco_Paff 15th June 2010 19:10
