cheers mate, what color black matt or gloss back.
what about mani cover ?:)

sr666 21st November 2010 14:47

again mani cover too, I'm more of a fan of gloss black, think it'd look good and would set the car off for a red / black theme if you wanted?

sr666 21st November 2010 15:05

not sure what the bolts are like for angel eyes but maybe unconnect them, remove bolts then spray them red too ?

IMO wicked red + black is win every time :P

crabzy 21st November 2010 15:07

cheers for help mate :)
there the same bolts that normally hold your head lights in :)

sr666 21st November 2010 15:09

then either the red or black, you'd probably get away with either mate,

looking very nice, bay looks cleaner and will look good once you have finished doing other bits :y:

are you doing the heatshield aswell?

crabzy 22nd November 2010 21:51

dont know cos thinking getting new manifold so be no point , but we will see ;)
cheers for your comment mate :)

VTSjames 22nd November 2010 21:54

yeah fair point mate if your getting a manifold, there would be no point..car is looking good tho, get it lowered asap :y:

sr666 22nd November 2010 22:13

told you it'd look good :P

Just maybe the badges in gloss black too? just to shine it up a bit more than the dull T Cut effect?

Much cooler and tbh do the heatshield just to smarten it up till you get the manifold bud :)

Ryan

crabzy 22nd November 2010 22:50

will do mate tomoz :) if i can get it off .
cheers how do you get badges off ? lol and hopefully getting new pipes for it soon so clean up little more :).
cheers for your comments :)

sr666 22nd November 2010 23:00

firstly be a bit careful as there's pins underneath them, I used a VERY thin flat bladed screwdriver to prise it off but instead of prising from the paint itself potentially scraping the paint you can either wrap it in a thin towel or flannel etc then simply get a little bit of leverage and GENTLY pull away hopefully keeping at least one pin in place then to put them back on leave a little bit of the original glue remaining just line it up with the pins and a tiny dab of superglue,

That's how I did mine :)

Just be careful and don't force anything,

You can use a hairdryer to loosen the glue first if you wish to but I'm personally not a fan as it can potentially bubble the paint

Ryan

crabzy 22nd November 2010 23:11

sweet might give that ago tomoz :)
what about mani cover mate ? or you not know :) stuggleing getting the lamba sensor off dont wont break it :)

sr666 22nd November 2010 23:25

that's something I don't know, I would assume just give it a tug but not the best idea for fear of breakage lol.

Sorry, if you ask in questions then they should be able to tell you there mate, should look awesome when it's done P

Furio-Gaz-Saxo 22nd November 2010 23:38

nice painting pal, looking nice

crabzy 22nd November 2010 23:39

should do when it finished :)
cheers for comments :)
