Saxo furio insurance prices!
hey was just wandering if any one that is 18 has a 1.4 furio and what sort of prices they are getting for insurance???:y:
|
About £2000
Depends where you live obviously but round-about that figure. |
im anything from 1400 to 5000 i no some people are payiong more but still think its a rip off as i had a 1.6 vtr last year and it was only 1400 now a year later smaller engine and 1 years ncb its more expensive!!!:n::bored:
|
Basicly it will cost more than you think for a 1.4.
I had a westy expecting cheap insurance...I was wrong, cost more than the car! But maybe you'll get a good quote? who knows. |
ive been searching for ages dont think i'll ever get a good quote insurance is a rip of all 2gether lol:L jst dont understand how they wud insure a bigger engine car last year for less thn a 1.4 ths year its crazy!!!
|
£1530 with admiral on a 10 month bonus accelerator, with mods.

Location makes more difference than what you think though so depends where you live.
|
errr think mine were £917 full comp mods declaried- alloys, exhaust, lowered and something else lol
19 no no-claims. been driving 2yrs on a mk2 1.4 furio in a LE12 area think a vtr was around £1100 but prices change as the month goes buy try doing a few quotes on comparason websites then on the cheapest quote go to that company direct. do that a few time in the month then you'll notice it drop a little. or go up more lol |
19, no claims, no ncb either tho, mk2 vtr = £966 paid in full
|
think its like £3000 for me im 18 got no no claims based on being driving for a month before christmas i was getting like quotes of £2100 but now the cheapest is 3k at the least that in my own name with my mum and dad on it
|

I have been told that multi car policies are only any good if you are older....not sure if that is true? |
£344 pound a month im 18 driving been driving for 5 months
|
£173 p/m basically if people are saying they are paying £1100 either they continued a renewal with their insurers for last years cheaper prices or have mummy and daddy as the policy holder :)
I got quoted £1100 with admiral, but they wanted payment in full for that £2100 for monthly. Thats 18 y/o 1 yrs ncb my mum on my policy 1.4 furio - modifications undeclared Last year i paid £160 p/m with admiral, then when it came to re-newing my policy they said £144, i thought i could do better so i turned them down and it turns out i couldnt do better at all :n: |
ive got a 1.4 westy and i got it insured when i was 18... mine was around the 1500 mark :)
