Update PAGE 3 RED C2 VTS
After 3 years and one doggie head gasket on my vtr its to move on. Had 32,000 miles on the clock when I brought it on a 03 plate and went onto 90,000 before the head started to let go so i part ex'd in for the C2.
The new car, and not every one will like this I know but well worth a drive if you every get offered a go in one. I didnt like them to begin with but the colour, comfort and power really snuck up on me. 2005 RED C2 VTS 1.6 16V 32,000 Thousand miles Paid £2500 + my car (Uncle is a car dealer) MODS: BCM Panel Filter, Lowered 65MM Plans: Gloss black Saxo vts Rims Re-map Gloss black wing mirrors with red caps Maybe exhuast (not sure as saxo had one and want to get away from scene). When I got it: http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...photos/vts.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z..._6196485_n.jpg And now Lowered: http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...9_733881_n.jpg Any idears or general comments welcome. |
Nice mate, not overly keen on the colour, and that vts sticker on the boot. Good car though still :)
|
sticker was put on there by the last dealer. He got the sticker from hear i was told.
|
Good deal with the price and part ex btw!
|
Yeh was a steal. Knocked him dwn. He only gave me £900 for the old saxo so wasnt having that (but tbh it was running like a dog). Needed new tyre aswell which he sorted.
If someone can sort the pics out for me that would be good. Duno what I have done there |

Plans are: Gloss black Saxo or c2 vts Rims
Re-map Gloss black wing mirrors with red caps. Other than that dont know where to go with it. Was eye supercharger kits at nearly 3 grand but that silly money for a c2 tbh |

yeh true. Gloss black would look good with maybe gloss black mirrors? Dont want them colour coded want a black red theme. Looking into chipping it before summer. As for breather mods has bcm panel filter i fitted not long after buying it. Not sure about exhuast yet. kinda like the quiet atm but the engine does sing after 4000rpm. Guess the saxo vts engine sounds simular standard.

When i had just my Ashley cat-back that was quiet wasnt untill the manifold was added it was louder and started poping :P I was on about red mirror caps like the Mk2's have but gloss black mirrors sound good. and yeah with the standard manifold around 4000rpm is when it gets going. With the Raceland manifold the engine comes alive around 3000rpm. |
Just got some gloss black saxo vts rims to go on over weekend.
|
