_Jon_ 5th April 2011 22:40

don't get me wrong I like flat arches but I think this one would suit with a vt kit :)

Krys_23 5th April 2011 22:43

Would kill the whole sleeper look then numb nuts, nice idea.

Looks good, bet it surprises a few people!! My brothers going to do the same with a mk1 106 hahaa

-shuggles- 5th April 2011 23:01

It would though.. the whole idea of this, is that its a 16v, that looks like a 1.1, therfore a sleeper. If it was a 16v, that looked like a 16v.. should of just bought a 16v.

Lots of 16v's in that paragraph lol

Ryan1992 5th April 2011 23:33

Very nice mate, bet it shifts!!

Delboy 5th April 2011 23:34

Looks sweet mate, I was thinking of doing the same "sleeper" look but I got fed up with the flat arch and vt kitted mine, now just awating my engine...did you need any new mounts on yours at all? As I keep getting told that 1 of the mounts won't fit properly and I'd need to weld my own...cheers, D

tomsmarty 5th April 2011 23:34

Looking good, done my ultimate plan there :y:

Wanted to do this myself..But ended up VT kitting mine 1st :homme:

As stated earlier, What did you do regarding the Ecu wing mount?
Thanks, Ed.

Lewis 5th April 2011 23:54

Looks sweet that, personally prefer 16v Desires as appose to mk1's

-shuggles- 5th April 2011 23:56

thought this sleeper might be a good read for you mate:y:

rorz_vts 6th April 2011 00:13

this is abit different lol most people go the other way ie sticking vt kits on their 1.1's and not bother with the power, but i like the way your doing it :y:

JRC1 6th April 2011 00:19

Awesome! Well done mate, lots of work I bet!

i used the 1100 engine mount. there are bolt holes to suit both mounts on the block. the engine does rock a tiny bit more than it would with the VTS mount but. i plan to take it off and gusset it for abit more strength, but i have had it running since christmas on that mount and so far so good.

1.1 with extra valves sleeper FTW :)
hope to convert mine next year :D

Tontsy 10th April 2011 20:09

Large one mate! Flattys with a valver ftw! Bodies would be fucking epic on that!

Not too sure on the gold raptors, maybe a set of subtle banded steelies, so it looks pretty stock! But have that edit width and stance look!
Im sure ive seen this one before, either through my mate dan hoare, or going alonng peverell park Rd.

Gary-VTR 10th April 2011 20:21

Quality project. Wouldn't mind one of these myself but don't want the hassle of building it aha, so give me a shout if you sell up. ;)

Needs vids when the iTBs are on - if people aren't surprised by the speed of it, they definitely will be by the sound it makes!
