Hi and welcome to my progress thread, I got my vtr a few months ago so thought id make a thread pics are all off my phone so sorry about the quality heres how it looked when I bought it





Put some sax-p stickers on

well....most of my suggestions are done...

so... get it lowered...and then, maybe a different zorst or get that one to sit less sticky out.

Aero Wipers, de wiper rear and get rid of the bra..

P.S your name could be VERY confusing LOL

First thing I did was black the rear badges



Next on the list was lowering so got busy one Sunday

Thanks for the comments I've done a bit of work already just got to upload the pics but the bra is off lol was on when I got it it was hiding a dint and some bad paint

I then smoked the headlights















I was really happy with how they turned out looked much better imo

Sprayed interior trim pieces and rocker cover







Tinted the rear lights maybe not to everyone's taste being so dark but I like it



Next I wanted to sort some exterior panels the passenger door had been scraping the wing and chipped the paint off them also the bonnet was dinted under the bra so source some bits off the bay new door wing and bonnet with a debadged grille

looks so much better after being lowered, not a big fan of the twin exhaust but aslong as you like it :y:

Sprayed the front bumper and splitter to widemouth it













And the end result







Turned out pretty awesome I think couldn't have been happier
That's all I've done so far comments please and any ideas of what to do next cheers

Ordered a 4-2-1 manifold last night I'll get pics up when it arrives

this is exactly the same as mine, just mk2 and has silly mirrors!! So i have to like it :y:

Fog lights need smoking to match the headlights

Got my 4-2-1 manifold today but won't be fitting till Thursday as I'm waiting for parts take a look

Fitted the 4 branch today turned out to be a right pain in the arse as the holes didn't line up properly nothing a round file couldn't sort out though, :homme:didn't take any pictures during so just a snap of the end result

look brill mate well done how did u do ur bumper did you sand it down and then prim it then paint it and did you just use a spray can ???

Thanks mate yeah I used wet and dry to rub the bumper down masked it all off and painted with halfords rattle cans 2 coats of primer 3 coats of black and colour match blue for the splitter and then 3 coats of laquer

well see when you done the splitter but blue was the paint a bit matalically looking lol cus the can i have says possi blue Citroen saxo on it

I used Citroën posiedon blue and its a good match and metallicy

and once you put the primer on it will be ok to drive the car ye ??

A few hours mainly waiting for paint to dry you mean drive it with just primer before painting?

It's probably not recommended as stones will chip it suppose it wouldn't be to bad as long as you don't leave it too long

Gave the beast a quick clean whilst at work today

Ordered a grommet of eBay yesterday so i'll be de-wipering when that arrives
