Hi peep's had my saxo a while now and only really just started doing little bit's to it this year so I thought i'd start a thread.

Mods to date....
Saxo vtr 2000 w reg
Lowered 40mm spax front Rear to match
Apex rear dampers
Drilled and grooved rea discs with green pads
Gti leather seats
Plain black door cards
Aero wipers
Show cage
Fire extingusher
Team heko wind deflector's

This is when I first got it a couple of years ago.



I really wanted some leather gti seats, I managed to get some and are in really mint condition. Here are some pics of how it was before and now with the really lush gti seats.

Going to be getting it lowered in a week or so when I've got the funds

Spring's came today got bargain off ebay Spax 40mm





Also I got some vts alloys which were in need of a refurb. It took me a week to sand and prep them ready for spraying gloss white as I wanted a really good finish. Sanded, filled with chemical metal, sanded again, ecthing primer 2 coats, 2 coats primer, 3 coats gloss white, 3 coats laquer. All in all I think they have come out mint.I'm really pleased with them. Just hope they don't get chipped when fitting tyres.

good job on the wheels, love VTS wheels in white. best mod i did was the 106gti leather! so comfy!!

Love those refurbed white vts alloys, ive been thinking about refurbing mine and painting them white, you've definately made me want to do it now, those will look really nice on the car.

Hi I have now had my vtr lowered, 40mm front and rear to match. Boony did a great job would recommend him to anyone. Anyway here are a couple of pics.

Will be getting my vts alloys on soon I'm in the process of getting my tyre's fitted two done two to go. I was really worried that they would chip or scratch them when they fitted the tyres. But the place I took them have done a mint job. Not a single chip or mark on the the two they have done so far. Also I aint got pay them till they have done all four alloys how goods that.

the white alloys look awesome! Been really tempted to get mine done white sometime, but i love silver a little to much, bland i know.. ;)

Thanks for the comment's I like them in silver to. When I decided to spray them I couldn't decided what colour to do them took me ages to decide, was torn between white or black. Glad I went with white in the end they look really good.

looks nice did you just put 40mm springs with the standard shocks??? i think you should smoke the headlights and de-slat the grill

goog choice on the seats and wheels ;)

you should get some plain black doorcards from a poverty spec saxo to match the seats then interior would be sorted. (the seatbelt pads make it a bit cluttered aswell in my opinion)

Hi thanks for all the postive comment's and ideas. I'm going to be de wipering it when I get round to it. Also thinking about getting a spare grill and having ago at de slatting it as I don't want ruin it then be left with a peice of junk stuck to the front of my car lol.
I might also have ago at smoking my lights or look out for some that are already smoked I think it would look mint.

Yes it's lowered on 40mm spax springs with standard shocks. I managed to get some apex dampers for the rear. I no they aint mint but better than standard I guess. The ride is ok just as anyone will tell u who is lowered you just need go very slow over bump and bloody pot holes.

Any performance mods in the pipeline?

Update..... Just got a show cage fitted. I no some people hate them but I quite like it and it's my car lol.

Also picked up a Mangex cat back exhaust today. Gave it a good polish with autosol and it's come up like new. So just got get that fitted sometime this week.

Also ordered some Team Heko wind deflectors.

Thanks hopefully should be getting it fitted tomorrow.I rang a garage today they wanted £30 + vat to fit it.That sounds alot to me what do u guys think. I aint paying that just to fit an exhaust. Going ring round some more tomoorow. I thought about £15 sounds about right. It Won't take them more than 15min's to do on a ramp should it to fit the new middle section and backbox.

Thinking of spraying my rear badges and front chevron's want people thought's. Should I go for white or just leave them don't want them look tacky. Got some spare rear badges from scrappy today. Thanks...
