Oh ffs its a Honda. = For sale.

Hey all,

Broke my Saxo and bought my EG6 around 4 months ago!

Its got full service history, every MOT from new! And is on 170k, proofs reliabilty of Honda. But the mileage has took its toll, its using a stupid amount of oil, and smoking badly in VTEC, probally could get away with changing the Valve stem seals, but im wanting more power.

Bought another B16A2 which is being rebuilt for abit more power!

The whole theme of car will be changing, wanting to go more USDM with it.

Will do a full spec list later.

Taking advantage of the engine being out and having it all wire tucked, and smoothed, anyways less chat more pictures! I haven't got any from when I got it so only as it now.

These are from South Mimms October meet.

Let me know on your opinions! And what you think I should change.

Exhaust is being changed before anyone says it sticks out too far! :) Wanting Spoon'ness.

Enjoy.

Its coming of the road for winter anyway for wiretuck and smoothness!

Thanks, love yours! Was reading your build the other day actaully!

I know, I know.. Was considering K20 but too late now. Maybe in future.

New engine is standard.

Not 100% sure yet, looking for a company to do most of the work, like set stages? Know of any? Just wanting abit more power out of it before it goes back in.

Cheers fella :D

They're a top engine straight out of the box, but can be costly for some reason.. :/

Theres a few,
Stevie @ Grinspeed
Stevie @ Eightspeed
TDi-North
ABP motorsport

Eightspeed are good though, and Grinspeed are recommended too, my mate just had a gearbox rebuild with carbon synchros, uprated final drive, lightened flywheel etc there and Stevie is a top bloke, managed to do it over a weekend :0

Eskimo 12th October 2011 00:07

Heard of TDI-North before, once I get a general idea on what kind of spec I wanting I'll give them all a bell.

Thanks for detailed list too. Do they all have sites?

I can't fault B16's tbh! For some reason when they hit VTEC it sounds so much louder than the K20's?

B16s are still costly, just not as much as K20s :), will be on list in future though, all depends on route I'm going with the car.
