nice! need to get some smoked jewels for the back. quite like the yellow ring on the wheels

coley19897 13th January 2012 09:27

Cammed
Remapped
Lowered
Showcage
Alloys refurbed
Smoked headlights
Straight threw stainless de-cat exhaust

Loads more mods to be done but cant decide what to do next apart from new drilled and grooved discs all round and new pads :p

the engine bay looks ok but i think it would look better yellow to match the rims and calipers and a good clean!

YourDreamGirl 13th January 2012 09:50

If yellow's your theme then go for it! You can get some decent lumi yellow paint from b&q if you want to go as bright as your tape :p

And just whack some wd-40 on the engine bay, used it on mine and it comes out a treat.. and you can use it on basically everything without destroying it haha.

Brettles1986 13th January 2012 09:53

Looks really nice, im loving the yellow rim tape, so much so that I might do in that direction on my cyclones.

I agree with the engine bay colour change and if it was my car I would get a raceland to replace that air filter.

m11ler 13th January 2012 10:22

I actually like this alot! Exhaust is a tad on the large side though lol

oh cool i will have to take a trip to b&q then. I wouldnt say yellow is my choice of colour but the calipers was that colour when i got it but i think its diffrent and stands out but i think it looks good.

i even thought about doing the showcage a yellow that isnt too bright so it stands out more but that idea changed and done it silver :p

What about the show cage black? You have black bits on the exterior/wheels etc so would still look good I think :y: and you can match it up to a black interior (roof lining, centre console, vents etc) I mean like gloss/satin black, not the weird standard black btw :)

i dont know what to do yet i will see what takes my fancy after a few other bits have been done

stevo1600 13th January 2012 10:42

looking very nice mate :y: especially like the rim tape idea and colour of the s rims

wd-40 really works well in the bay, could go yellow cam cover and get a yellow induction hose. would look megga tbh.

its screaming for a 4-1 manifold though;);)

saxova 13th January 2012 10:47

Amp wiring through the door, like a pr0 (H)

Also 1 blue headlight and the other not :P

Also why's there only 1 brake pipe going to the MC?

Leave it as it is, it looks subtle, mine is anthracite in a maurituis blue saxo and you can hardly notice it

Just noticed the rim tape on the front passenger side wheel doesn't seem to go around the circumference of the wheel properly

saxova 13th January 2012 11:55

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

That's mine, a pipe to each brake calliper, on your's i see only 1 and some squiggly piping.

coley19897 13th January 2012 11:57

i will have to take a look at mine i dunno why its diffrent

coley19897 13th January 2012 12:01

just had a look, and on the left side of it where you have a pipe mine is like completely solid and no pipe could be fitted there and it dont have the threaded hole. so i dunno why mine is diffrent

Gandi699 13th January 2012 12:03

Looks like its running a GTi-6 or similar master cylinder. You cant see in the photo but the pipe union holes are blanked over on the left hand side, there is still one for the rears under the fluid res. though

oh right, there is a few things that has been changed and i didnt know about. also when i went to change the drive belt that is also diffrent, i went and got a standard fit one which had a code of 5PK775 but i had to take it back and needed one that was 4PK0725 or something like that, obviously it hasnt got as many ribs on the belt? what is achived by changing it to that setup

Lewis1600 13th January 2012 12:25

Nice car...

I would put spacers on the back though..

and I cant stand them type of exhaust which have a big back box etc..

But the rest I really like good job :)
