GTA Online is now up!

I'm tempted to leave it a couple of days, it's going to be glitchy as hell on its opening week.

Seems to be problems with the servers .... Who didn't see that coming ?

I haven't even bothered loading it up yet tbh

created a character then tried to do first race but it just doesn't start, I guess servers are messed up to much to cope with it all, ruined my day off

They have anticipated 2 million people online and haven't got the equipment to deal with it due to stronger sales than expected.

Leave it a couple of days chaps. I'd rather wait til it's all up and running smoothly before signing in. It'll only be frustrating otherwise.

I've just turned mine on to do the update and its crashed :/

As most others, leave it until the end of the week, let a few people get sick of it

I've played about four hours online. Once you're past the first race, its fine. No lag at all.

Gonna give it a few days then see what happens at the weekend.

Keep trying it guys. Once you (eventually) get past the first tutorial race, it's all smooth sailing.

I got to the race, nearly got in a car and that as far as i got.

Read online old Xboxes can't handle the online part, but many replying with they are actually using New 250th version. Gonna try again tonight on mine and hope I can get online

Mine is an original 360 and it works fine.

Myself, P_Connor (from here and ClioSXT (from here) went to collect some ammunition in free mode. We parked up outside and I watched P_Connor walk towards the store. Just as he got to the door ClioSXT sprinted in and all I heard was a gunshot and P_Connor scream. Next think, P_Connor is sprinting back out and jumping in his car.

Turns out the place had just been robbed and the guy thought it was us lol

Pissing me off now, i must have tried 30 times, gets to the race, just says waiting for other players, and stays on that loading screen

Loading screen music is awful. been trying for the last hour.

I'm now live and direct. I dont know what they've done since the clouds been off but it's working great!

mine was. jay parked it too close to a petrol pump when i got trigger happy with a shotgun :p

I can get online.. But only if i make a temp character.. Still can't get past the 1st race with my actual character..

after many many many attempts of getting online I had to turn off all my internet connections to everything in house and it went online fine, did first few missions and was able to do robberies with me mates, and levelled up to 5 or something with bout 8k in bank, and robbing a few randomers

Mine and a friends favourite cars. Mines the one on wires.

I think we all learned a valuable lesson last night.

As above really, I rarely get online lol. It seems quite reliable now though. I'll be on tomorrow, out tonight now.
