My Vts Turbo

Recently fished my turbo conversion off, all sorted now apart from needs fine tuning on a rollin road which will be done in the near future. The car is completly different to drive, never would have thought it would make this much differnce. really impressed. Also a set of piccies were taken for a mag so look out for it in the very close future hehe :) enjoy:P :clapping:

JAMESVTS 1st November 2006 20:01

Cheers for the comments guys, its 90mm rear and 70 front ;)

Saxo-Slag 1st November 2006 20:03

After Turbo on mine next year.

ets2k9 1st November 2006 20:08

What brakes do you have they dont look that hefty for a turbo?

JAMESVTS 1st November 2006 20:10

they were std on the shoot, but have gti6 ones goin on now until get me hands on some 4 pots.

ets2k9 1st November 2006 20:16

I thought you were a brave man running std brakes.

I really like everything about it nice and subtle no stupid kits or big wheels, the only thing I'd change is the rear lights.

I dont suppose you care about rear lights so when you have a turbo.

Who did the conversion?

Sorry for all the Q's I'm just intersted I mean you no harm.

JAMESVTS 1st November 2006 20:20

lol, im still unsure weather to change the rears back to std?

the noise, torque and speed makes up for it lol

I did most of it myself but had help from the guys at www.epmotorsport.com, who built the mani and exhaust system as a custom prototype jobby :)

ets2k9 1st November 2006 20:25

I'd leave them if you've gone to trouble of changing them.

You cant be a bit of DIY are you going to become the resident turbo expert then?

I've just thought of another question :) what ecu/management are you using?

Its probably easier to just right a big essay for me :) and I'm blaming you if I fail my uni course as this is far more interesting then inserting tables into web pages.

fredjudd 1st November 2006 20:26

I love it mate, the way to an untrained eye it is a saxo. Then you spot the inter cooler, the air filter and is it an oil cooler at the other fog hole?

Loverly!

saxoash 1st November 2006 20:28

manifold welds could have been a buit neater.

Lovley car tho, very clean too

bullit 1st November 2006 20:29

i would have said change the front lights to standard. lovely intercooler

Predator_R32 1st November 2006 20:42

gorgeous mate looks great apart from the rear lights, get the standard ones back on

GTI_Lee 1st November 2006 20:45

That looks f*kin awesome mate!

Jimbo 1st November 2006 20:47

WOW...

That can only be described "Perfection"

Congratulations on what would be my favorite Vts ever.. if it wern't for the rear lights. (I cried a little bit when i saw them)

craig180 1st November 2006 20:52

Just how I would have done it, except the wheels. Maybe anthracite.

Absolutely spot on otherwise!!!

scook 1st November 2006 20:54

that one nice engine bay

Colin 1st November 2006 20:54

OH MY GOD!

My trousers.........

I will officially say the nicest Saxo ive seen with the power to match.

A tad too low for me but it looks amazing!

adamlang 1st November 2006 21:02

stiffler69 1st November 2006 21:12

I would appreciate a video of this performing it looks superb mate really nice can i buy your wheels please

Mark51 1st November 2006 21:17

very nice maate, like the alloys.

what was the cost?

ets2k9 1st November 2006 21:18

The answers are out there....

"Cheers for the comments guys, its 90mm rear and 70 front "

James 1st November 2006 21:21

I like it but i think it's a waste of time... You have turbo'd a car what will only perform well in a straight line because it's been lowered so much. If i'd spent the money putting a turbo on my car i would want to see some results by throwing it around a track.. do that in yours and kiss goodbye to your back end :P Really like what you did to the alloys though, you dont see many saxos with them :) Good job :) Sorry if im coming across mean/nasty.

platty 1st November 2006 22:05

show off im very jealous, very nice car their mate!

Ax_beefy 1st November 2006 22:17

Fucking spessssshul!..... That is absolutely mint!... The only thing I'd change is the angel eyes... other than that it is a shining example of its kind... Its almost standard looking but with the subtle bits that have been done it looks 10 times better than any shit body kit could make it!... As for the engine work I'm glad to see a proper job done... I know there are some proper turbo's on here but some I've seen in the past are laughable.... Good work

Sean 1st November 2006 22:41

i love it mate, it really looks lovely. but as cloud said, why go to all that bother with the engine then slam the suspension so much that the handling will be absolutely awful? also personally think standard front and rear lights would have set it off more but it's down to personal choice at the end of the day.

ets2k9 1st November 2006 22:50

I really fancy a Turbo now Ax Beefy I'd be worried very worried ;)

mattturbo 1st November 2006 23:01

That Is The Best Saxo Around.

Andyt 1st November 2006 23:39

I like that a lot...only thing i'd change is maybe the rear lights. Full spec list please.

ada 2nd November 2006 00:02

Is it just me or does almost everyone on this forum say the same thing?
IMO, there's nothing wrong with the lights. That is one shit hot car! The intercooler at the front is means as hell! Did you use all the Back to Black stuff on the trims and not have enough for the wheels, because the trims are shiney!
Car looks LETHAL! Rant over. :Y:

Jaytee 2nd November 2006 00:18

damn thats sexy. in fact its beautiful
