Mike_08 - Progress Thread.
Right iv had my car for just under a year now and only shown a few pics on here. So i think its about time i got round to making my own progress thread as every one els on here seems to have one. being young and new to the whole scene at the time i got it i went though proberly the most common phases wich looking back on now im so glad i found this site. Most of the work i done all by myself and knew next to nothing about car's when i started. but the only way to lern is to get stuck in.
Here is a few pics of when i first got the car and the first of the stupid mods.     Then i found this site and fell in love with the silver and black theme and the subtle look. So i stripped the car and started from scratch. First of the new mods was some smoked rear lights to replace the lexus lights and a new grill. then the next on the must do list was black rear badges, de wiper, smoked headlights and fogs and back to the black vtr rims.     Then bacame a full member on here and replaced the grill with my standerd one that i color coded silver with black mesh and chevrons and got some french style plates.  After all of this was done it stayed like that for a while untill i got bored then made the big changes. Pug GTI leather with black seatbelts and a VTR gearknob to match and get it lowered 60mm all round.     Once again got bored with it so sold my smoked rear lights and went back to the standerd rears. Up till now i have got a volt gauge and pod and have fitted a new mirror cap as when i got the car it had just a black mirror on the left side that had the top painted.    And thats really it up untill now. So here is a few pics of it how it is now and im loving it:p Exterior lowerd 60mm all round smoked headlights and fogs dewiperd black rear badges coloer coded grill with black grill and chevrons freanch plates        Interior Full pug gti leather Full black seatbelts Color coded silver parts New vtr gear knob Volt gauge and pod Still a few things to be done so will be updating as they happen. In my opinion Black VTR wheels look better than Black VTS wheels
Car looks spot on mate, glad you saw the light and removed them aftermarket wheels. Nice show cage would compliment the car very nicely |

went from a shed to a great car, im glad you found this site too. it needs to be shown to all those saxo owners out there, that buy lexus lights and higher there car, lol. nice one mate.

Quick update - clean & volt gauge wired in
Just a few pics of the sax and my mates clio after we cleaned them.

Clifford 650
had a quote of £330 fitted on a 650 so will be getting it fitted on thursday cant wait wont have to worry when i leave the car lol :y:

Power steering gone
How shite is it was driving all day and no probs. Then got all the way to work didnt even get in the car park and my car went strait when i was turning right:n: Opened up the bonnet to see red fluid pissing out from a bolt right up by the steering wheel. But fingers crossed it should be up on the ramps tomorrow to be sorted:y:

Power steering sorted
Just got the car back home and its all sorted now:clapping: :y:

Door strips removed
After having the car back for a day after fixing the power steering pump i decided to give the car a good clean to remove all the dust from it being in the garage. While i was giving it a clean i had a look at the black stripes running between the windows and noticed they were starting to come of so i decided to just remove them.
