4 Branch Manifold

Just curious as to how much bhp the 4-2-1 manifold would give a saxo VTR

S34MER 19th June 2007 23:12

3-4bhp at the most mate! but it will free up the revs no end buddy, i've got one on mine!

MiniGibbo 19th June 2007 23:12

the manufactoer states most 4-2-1 will give *UP TO* 10% more power low to mid range.

"but it will free up the revs no end buddy" free up the revs meaning?

dannygti 19th June 2007 23:27

it will rev through the gears slightly quicker and be more responsive

S34MER 19th June 2007 23:29

well tbh mate, if you bothered to search before you posted, as you should ;) you'd know the answer already :p

this threads been dug up from the past lol

Don't always believe the marketing hype as those are often inflated claims that most people will not realise. If you purchase a decent manifold you will get gains everywhere in the rev range.

Phase 2 manifold with no cat

I have 03 saxo (phase 2). I want to fit a 4-2-1 manifold without a cat. Iv been told a phase 1 manifold will fit but the oil filter might need moved. Do u know if there is a supplier that sell phase 2 manifolds with no cat or what I need to do to make a phase 1 fit?
