Standard Exhaust Problems

Hi,

I have a 03 VTR with a sports back box but I told my insurer that its got an standard exhaust system, so I have to change it. I brought the standard back box, took the bracket off to found that its been welded on. So now I need the centre section too. Im been looking at Klarius PG219B with that fit?

Thanks DJn

Never heard of that make mate,i think Citroen used a make called bosal as their standard exhaust.

They sell them on Eurocarparts

Just not sure if its compatible. My car has the cat on the manifold to a 90 degree downpipe with lambda sensor.

i put a klarius system on my focus the other year, sorry not a saxo and everything fit quality of it seamed ok, the delivery company threw it about a bit, had to bend the tube on one end so the sleeve joint would go together, try carparts4less ecp's sister company usually cheaper

Why not just tell the insurer that it has a sports backbox ?? The extra premium shouldn't be anymore than replacing the exhaust itself unless your a new driver etc

Citroen made their own exhausts, branded ECIA.

Klarius is cheap motorfactor tat, Bosal slightly better.

Always found Bosal and Walker systems to fit pretty well and not have massively reduced diameter through poorly made bends.

My insurer wanted 500 pound with a modded exhaust but 350 with standard so i have no choice but to change it and plus its to loud.
