dta s40 and Megane 225 injectors
 
hi,
has anyone ever ran specifically a data s40 and Megane 225 injectors
at the dyne today and having trouble making them work properly with the dta.
back to the dyno tomorrow to hopefully sort it

yep we've got her running loads better now still some issues with lean running now
but were on the dyne tomorrow evening hoping for the 185hp mark would like to see 200 but on a gt17 its unlikely

You do know about the biased spray pattern on the Renault injectors?
If not, you'll probably have fuel spraying on the floor and roof of the ports, rather than on the valves. In which case you'll never get good fuel control.

yeah got them twisted slightly think were going to move down injector size to to Clio 182s I thought Megane ones are 390cc but their 480 much too big very rich at idle still.
also had to buy a different waste gate as it was trying to make over a bar of boost very early no matter what we did with waste gate rod length and pitting boost on to the actuator to try open it earlier the cheap eBay gt1756 turbo is impressive

For now.

If you've got the injectors fitted right you shouldn't be having over-fuelling problems at idle with a DTA. Have you got the latency set right?

182s are much too small.

You could try Bosch 0280158038 which are the top injectors out of an S1000RR

ahahah yes I'm not expecting it to last its just one that came with the turbo kit I bought

we've fought through the teething problems made 280nm and 214hp the other night at 11psi only reving to 6k and very little changes to the map that was already on the dta (was on a turbo Saxo before buy car) needs a proper boost control solenoid as its spiking early and the bloody turbo drain is leaking the mapper pointed out a couple other things with the build to change so picking the car up and changing things up
