Peugeot 106 VTR

Hey, currently proud owner of Peugeot 106 1.4 sport, completely stock but looking for some improvements. I have minor oil leak and some vibrations from the engine is going inside the car. Right now I have two options.

Option nr. one: I could find out from where is the oil leaking from, fix it, and replace engine silent blocks. Then start some engine adjustments.
Option nr. two: I found someone selling their VTR, 1.6 98hp NFT for really good price. I could buy it, swap the engine, use its rear axle, use its stainless steel exhaust and such. The VTR has a lot of modifications already, so I could use a LOT of its parts.

Now to my main question. Since NFT engines were originally put only in saxos (as far as I know), can it be easily put in 106? By easily I mean without any major adjustments to any electronics that I have in 106.
I found out that there are some differences between these engines. For example KFX has hydraulic power steering, NFT electric. Those little things make me worry if it’s even possible.

Thanks for any reply.

Ps: Sorry for my English, it’s not my main language, I’m still learning. :)
