Samcos Full Set

im at the stage of rebuilding my vts after it blew up..

and id like a complete samcos set..

ive had a quick look on e-bay but no luck..

any one got any links or pics to where i can get a full set of these

thanks

Try demon tweeks mate. They only do the rad hose kit and induction piping

willsy 31st December 2007 10:19

For the VTS samco only do the 90degree induction hose and thats it

Sucks really. The VTR they have done 2 coolant hoses for but these are different sized to the VTS

You're better off asking a company like SFS (think thats the right initials) as they will make hoses up. Samco are reluctant to make anything new as they were going to do my hoses for me and then backpedalled :(

-Joe- 31st December 2007 10:25

ok thanks for that i'll see what i can find

Jackman 31st December 2007 10:43

Might be a dull question...

But why use Samco hoses?

is there a gain from them..

-Joe- 31st December 2007 10:48

dont think there is any gain... just make the engine bay look better

very exspensive cosmetic mod. however there are silicon based and are more resistant to heat and wear than standard pipework.

williamsvts 31st December 2007 11:12

try chris astley motorsport.

Brilliant... thanks for that..

thats what made me wonder... little expensive for something that will just look good.

williamsvts 31st December 2007 11:21

its £450 for the set for my engine :(

Exactly the same but more widely avaiable than Samco, direct fit and probably cheaper :y:

Silicone hoses are harder-wearing, help to lower in the bay, stronger and look better that standards

Fairly prices mod but imo worth it if you can find a good kit

Jackman 31st December 2007 18:05

Can't seem to find a kit for the Rallye..

Everythings for the GTi's.

jeeves_101 31st December 2007 18:18

sfs do the full vts set.

2 coolant hoses and the induction hose

-Joe- 31st December 2007 19:56

does anyone have a link to the SFS set??

willsy 31st December 2007 20:02

VTS coolant set

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SFS-Silicone-C...QQcmdZViewItem

VTS induction hose

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SFS-Silicone-I...QQcmdZViewItem

Just bought the coolant set myself, SFS RRP on these is £150 for the 2.
These people are the cheapest ive found as they offer free postage and at just over £140 its good, compared to Demon Tweeks whos is £176 as they charge for postage

The second one is a really good price too, Samco induction hose is over £70 so its a big big difference considering quality is supposed to be pretty much identical

-Joe- 31st December 2007 20:08

wicked thanks for that mate.. add'd them onto wish list will pay for them friday :)

ordering so much for this car so far ... lol

bloody thing lol

pjsaunders06 31st December 2007 20:11
