car polish / toothpaste
toothpaste
also think they said banana in nuts magazine... |
is this serious or someone taking the piss ?
serious mate
i remember my mum used moisturiser or something like that on one of my DVDs and it helped. the reason a disc skips is because of the scratches, so if the scratch isnt there, i.e been filled in by something, its less likely to skip :y: |
i used to put mines in the freezer
how would that help?
surely that could crack the disc? |
i used toothpaste on one of my 360 games it worked :y:
its just the fact that toothpaste is slightly abbrassive and with the use of a cotton rag and toothpaste or even brasso, you rub the disc all over in circular motions and it kinda skims a layer of the disc off (down to the depth of the scratch).
get someone to "detail" it :P
man i cant beileve u can put toothpaste on a cd lol anyways i might try it but me mum will kill me lol any other ideas ?
make sure you dont use the gel type, look on utube theres a guide bud :y:
