EZBZ simply awful seller. AVOID

Well ive given it 3 weeks to resolve a problem that was fairly important but hes ignored me.

Bought a vtr ecu unlocked for £40 but put £2 on for extra postage 1st class.
the item was suposedly sent out but nothing arrived for 2 weeks.
He then kindly said il send out a 2nd 1 with keys etc also never arrived.
Asked for a refund as had to buy another one because his never arrived, ignored me.
opened up a ebay case
he said close it and il refund you a week ago
its been a week no refund very poor contact and a completely useless item for me now.

reopening ebay case so my money should be fine just warning people HIGHLY HIGHLY AVOID

Mcwaffle 3rd June 2011 17:35

oh i cant claim my money back as hes asked me to close the case so i did that you cannot re open so cheers for that fucker!

Mochachino 3rd June 2011 17:38

Open a paypal dispute then rather than eBay.

what area is he located?

Mcwaffle 3rd June 2011 18:02

i have but as he asked me to close the claim and he wud refund me you cannot open a new 1.

Mochachino 3rd June 2011 18:36

Just phone paypal

Mcwaffle 3rd June 2011 18:43

i did but cant help apparntly

UKtom 4th June 2011 08:57

i bought something from ezbz, he claimed it was sent out first class recorded on a wednesday, as i needed it for friday.. it never arrived, had to buy another one in the meantime.. then his parcel arrived the next tuesday, royal mail sticker said it was sent out the day beforehand..
just be careful with him :p

Mcwaffle 4th June 2011 09:54

hes now asked me to return his ecu and then he will refund me.

no as then im down £50? and no item at all?

Mochachino 4th June 2011 10:20

Just sell it mate, if he claims to have sent two out before but hasnt then its clear hes trying to scam you and I wouldnt trust him to send it back, you probably wont get a refund. How hard is it for him to refund you now then you send the ECU? Your the trustworthy one.

Id personally just tell him to get fucked and then sell it yourself to get your money back.

Mcwaffle 4th June 2011 11:08

i understand sometimes takes day or 2 to get things posted but 3 weeks and no refundf?

Mcwaffle 5th June 2011 11:57

still no refund!

Tammy_VTS 11th June 2011 23:21

guys I am sure you know that this EZBZ sells exactly the same stuff for exactly the same price on Ebay (gee thanks for the forum discount) tbh if you have to buy something from him do it thru Ebay that way you have much wider range of protection and recourse.....

Not really, eBay and PayPal are the same company. Doesn't matter where you make the purchase you have the same protection if done through PayPal.

And to the OP you shouldn't have been stupid enough to close the case just because the guy said he would do something. He had already told you he sent out two items and that hasnt worked out too well so far has it so why believe him again?

Tammy_VTS 11th June 2011 23:47

There aare more options available thru Ebay protection than thru buying from this guy on a forum m8, for example you are far more likely to win if you purchased thru Ebay for a misdescription or goods not as described than you would if you bought thru the forum. How would you present a case to paypal if you had just bought from a random post in the For Sale section if the seller decided to edit or delete his post and say "i didn't describe them like that" whereas on Ebay the listing is there whether he likes it or not

Its just an observation m8 and after the ruckuss with the thief tisandy recently maybe a bit of caution is advisable with sellers like him ;-)

i live about 6 miles away from this ebz guy, he works at a salvage scrappy. are you still without the goods bluewaffle?

Scorgie01 18th June 2011 20:19

I bought goods from him about a month ago now, He described the goods honestly, Sent them straight away and i received them 3 days later. He was very friendly and co-operative.

I know this doesn't solve anything but i feel its a bit unfair on him if i dont back him up. Not that im saying he hasn't done wrong

:)

Mcwaffle 19th June 2011 10:58

i have no goods.
i have tried to send them back for a refund
he has ignored me
refused my refund
refused to take the item back
