Hi guys, please do me a favour and take the time to check out my YouTube channel "Gassed Up" It started off small with just a few track day videos and the like but at the end of the month we are going to Cardiff to drive the New Abarth 595 and 124 Spider and more cool stuff to come! Give us a look and if there's anything you would like to suggest for the future please let me know! http://www.youtube.com/c/gassedupuk |
Boring as fuck, your camera is low quality your camera skills are shit at best and you're still a jumped up cock end.
Also since you make money from YouTube this could be classed as a advertisement for your business and you aren't a affiliate so breaking forum rules. |
Its not a business but if you have any further suggestions please send them to idontgiveafuck@gassedupuk.com
Thank you. |

He's right about the gear though. When I started I didn't have a clue on settings or anything! I was uploading in 480p rather than 1080!
That said I wouldn't say my equipment is THAT bad compared to what some similar channels are using. I have a Sony HDR CX240 Camcorder 1080p HD, A Gopro 2 1080p HD and a SJCAM S4000 also 1080p HD I am looking into getting a Panasonic Lumix G7 which also has the benefit of being 4K but that's not why I'm using it. I've also gone out and bought a tripod and am planning on getting another action cam asap. Plus we are off to Cardiff very soon to review two Abarths So it's not all bad! I'm all for a bit of constructive criticism! Off the back of what he said i actually deleted the shite quality videos with low views but that dude is just a troll looking at all his posts on sax-p. That or very depressed. |

You are a member of patreon asking for money because you can't make enough money from your vids, sub 500 subs. Your content is little more than a camera phone quality. You have no structure to your vids and the content is crap.
The picture quality is embarrassing as with the lighting. No one wants to watch a YouTube channel of a bloke "begging" for you to pay for his hobby. Also no one wants to watch the reposted vids from other users when they can find them elsewhere. You need to start a fresh with originality good lighting and well structured and well edited vids of a average time of 8-9 mins, We have a traffic of 250k views on the work feed weekly using equipment with a value of over 5k every week, the hobbyist just isn't interesting anymore just look at diresta and Casey neistat for some examples, two very different well shot well edited formats both gaining thousands of views and keeping it interesting. |
You forget most of the people getting big views on youtube (Shmee 150 etc) were already rich.
He has shite content and he doesn't have the greatest quality footage I've ever seen either. Plus his voice, hair and clothes are annoying as hell. |

The format you are into is a dead market too many people do it and your "look how many vids I can do about my finance polo" is only ever going to get you so far. Think outside the box to what the age range 14-19 want to see, is that market where you get the clicks and it's there you will get the views but what do I know I forget they were actually rich. |
I'm not in it to be rich! It's an interest! Do I need to show my bank balance to prove it's not financed? ??

So I don't have to spend any more of my money on equipment when it's already added up to 2 grand.

You are completely right I DID buy the wrong stuff starting out! I was watching small youtubers (at that time people like Jamie FYD) that were solely using GoPros and cheap gear and thought that would do me as it was just an experimental hobby. I wrongly thought a cheap HD camcorder would help but again I was wrong.
You have to realise that although on paper I might actually appear to have a decent amount of cash tucked away, a half decent job/life etc that I still have to prioritise things in life for example how can I justify £400 on say a camera when I could get my son something nice with that cash. I have a Gopro 2 which is fine for action as is the SJCAM. I've recently bought an external mic for the Gopro. Editing wise I use cyber link powerdirector 14. My next camera will likely be a Panasonic Lumix G7 |
Reference subscribers and such I would prefer 1000 loyal supportive guys than a million that only watch my click bait videos.

still not listening.... Panasonic.
