Jacks E90.

I’ve had my car a while now but I’ve only just got around to making a thread. I have a 2008 E90 335d M-Sport in LeMans blue which I bought directly from BMW Sycamore Peterborough under the BMW AUC scheme. This is actually my second 335d, I previously had a black E90 from BMW Stratstone Derby but it was massively problematic so after a long legal battle I upgraded to this one.

Basics are as follows:
BMW E90 335d M-Sport
3.0ltr bi-turbo diesel 286bhp / 428lb-ft
6 speed paddleshift gearbox
LeMans blue with shadow gloss highline
Black dakota leather with aluminium trim
Previously a BMW management car
Full BMW dealership service history
All paperwork present

Spec and Optional extras:
BMW individual colour
M-Sport package
Automatic xenon headlamps with angel eyes
Professional IDrive navigation with Assist
Premium sound system (sounds crystal clear)
Extended light package
Heated seats
Electric adjusting seats
Electric adjusting and electric folding heated mirrors
Automatic wipers with rain sensor
Tyre pressure monitoring system
Cruise control with brake assist
Duel zone climate control
Cooling armrest box
Bluetooth
Voice control
Alarm and tracker
ABS and DTC
Headlight washers
Parking sensors

The picture is a little boring, but it's the only one I have when I first collected the car.

Yeah. People have got some crazy figures from this car after only a DPF delete and remap. Although after my last one (which I’m sure was remapped), I don’t think I’d ever toy with the engine in a 335d. It just created more problems than it was worth.

My friend Matt is a professional photographer and he kindly offered to take some pictures of my car, this is what he gave me:

He doesn’t have a website yet, but when he does I’ll be sure to put it on here. His work is unreal.

Is your mate local to derby then? I fancy some proper pics of my BMW/Quad etc when they're all back together! Those pics look bang on

He is mate yeah. He lives in a town between Derby and Nottingham I can PM you his email if you’d like? He’s worked with quite a few people now so I’m sure he’d be able to show you more of his work.

It heats too. I once used it to keep my coffee warm.

20" BBS CX-Rs.

Stissy 23rd September 2015 19:28

Apologies for the quick succession, I’m still playing catch-up with the progress.

I got the BBS CX-Rs refurbished in Anthracite Pearl Grey (RAL 9023) and fitted with Continental ContisportContact 5s.

Specs are:
Fronts 20 x 8.5” with 235/30/R20.
Rears 20 x 10” concave with 255/30/R20 on about an 8% stretch.

I bought some Cree white LED Halos:

My good friend Matt also offered to do a second photoshoot of the car with the new wheels and lights fitted:

Looks suit it and fill the arches nicely

simmo 3rd October 2015 14:02

Those wheels are nice! Suprised 20s fit so well.

Ive had to return to my original wheels because the two rears have cracked. I want to stick 19" but might try and go 9.5 all round. Maybe some gold or white rotas.

When ive got the new wheels and given it a polish i'll deffo hit your mate up for some pics.

The E9X swallows wheels. It’ll fit 20s easily providing the offset is right. Rotas look banging too.

Hmm I do like these BM's... our dent guy at work has one in Gun Grey with the smoked rear lights and BBS alloys and it looks spot on tbh. Think he's done 200k+ in his, chipped the hell out of it and it's stil going like a train. Proper car!

Those shots look ace well... wish I had mates like yours! Those wheels look gorgeous, too :y:

Thanks mate. They are cracking cars in terms of economy vs performance. I don’t think there’s anything that comes close for under 20k.
