Dunno how it's calculated, apparently I've got the most points on my friends list but a lot of them have 100% completed 3 & 4 etc I'm sure

Yeah not too sure either but check back on that every month or so there's some sort of loyalty reward I think.

Its calculated in loads of different ways, for example...

Complete 100 online races - 100 points (every time)
Complete single player - 20 points
Unlock achievement - 5 points (every time)

They're not the actually awards but you get the idea. If you've done 10 times more online races, you'll have a lot more points.
