To fit a back box you can do it yourself mate its not too hard. A garage would charge about £20 to fit it at most.

saxooxas 29th January 2007 18:36

well im interested in fitting my own exhaust - when ive got so money that is.. so is it difficult or be done by anyone?

Robbo 29th January 2007 18:39

a tenner maybe, £20 max id say

argylefan1985 29th January 2007 18:45

do it yourself as long as it aint one of those crapy universal ones, get a direct fit and do it yourself.

saxooxas 29th January 2007 18:53

sounds good - a peco one is that ok? just a 3" end and direct fit..

ok i think ive got it - i had a look today and it looked easy enough - when i start my new job(and get payed) thats the first job im doing! Where does the paste go? like around where the pipe goes from the backbox onto the other pipe?

tbh mate id get a garage to do it, for 15 quid or whatever you know its safe and not going to fall off.... you get peace of mind if you get me. that way any problems you can take it back to them to sort it out

its so easy to do, i fitted my whole system in under 2 hours, that was on my drive with the jacks and stands, removed old system and fitted new system from manifold back.

back box should only take an hour or so :)

easy to do.

or a garage will do it for a few quid ;)
