Wrong spy, i have a multipoint weld in cage fitted in my 106... what do you think the camera is attached to?
I wouldn't be able to compete in the modified production class without a cage.

greyjasper51 20th August 2012 23:24

Thats worrying!! I was watching a hill climb earlier without one in it... Errr... Im gonna have to find it now lol

Dave_P 20th August 2012 23:26

Production class cars don't need a cage.

greyjasper51 20th August 2012 23:35

Cant remember where... May have been youtube...

SGregg 21st August 2012 22:03

Dave,

Do you need in date seat(s) and Belt(s) like in rallying? Would a standard car with a cage, seats and belts be slapped in mod production regardless of any other modifications?

Cheers

Been thinking today and I think I might look into having a go at this sprint/hill climb stuff.

"in date" stuff is not required.

To answer your other question, no.

Its best to read the (confusing) blue book regarding rules & regs.

Another vid clip from me, Gurston down hillclimb this time.

The car is crap with the spare box fitted, slow gear changes or it didn't go into gear. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

221horse powers NA 1.6 getting broken in @ Trax. First 5mins are pretty boring installation laps, then it gets interesting :D

Dave_P 17th September 2012 12:40

You get no sensation of speed on a wide open circuit. :(

Nice Dave, love your videos, properly committed! Which camera do you use? Needs lifting up a bit if possible so we can see more of the road / track

Dave_P 1st October 2012 08:59

It's a kit I got from a place in Ireland, I've still got the box somewhere...

Looks to do the trick, sound quality good as well. My silverstone video was done on Ross's GoProHD 2 so I think I'll go for one of those
