Christmas time.

Merry Christmas to all the old knobs on here and a happy new year.

It’s hard to believe that this Christmas no one has even bothered to put the skin on the site.

Never mind.

Beer time :drink:

Merry Christmas to all on SaxP. It may be quiet on here relative to the old days, but it has still been a source of invaluable information to me as I work away at my first Saxo, so thanks to everyone for all their help and I look forward to messing with Saxos in 2019!

I think it will struggle. It’s like zero effort is put into the site any longer. But if no money is being made then it’s obviously not worth it.

The car is no longer in production and it won’t be long until most of the day to day running parts are no longer stocked by suppliers.

The only way any forum survives is by being active. Sadly too many of us will only ever post when we need some help. It really needs people to just keep putting up content - even it is just 'what did you do to your saxo today' type stuff. I suppose the 'scene' is alot quieter than before, bound to happen as people grow out of the interest.

Hopefully there will be a few more saxos and 106's joining throughout the year to keep up the momentum. It's been a great help to me so far, I for one would miss it!

I think the biggest problem here is Facebook, the 106/saxo Pages on there are pretty popular, I guess the younger generation feel that forums are a bit dated.

Only other thing I can think of is if this site merges with all other french cars, i.e 106 and 207 etc etc.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year lads.

Facebook will always be more popular these days, with the ability to post upload pictures a lot quicker and easier, and with a vaster, more active audience there’s a quicker response too. But a lot of the stuff posted in the groups is rammel and as dturbo it would be a shame to lose the information, and progress threads etc. stored here.

Forum should convert to all pug/citroen models, or die a slow death.
