fitting induction kit problem
Im considering fitting an induction kit to my VTR but what do i do with the small pipe going from the air box to the engine
|
think ur on about the oil breather coming from the top of the air box?
if u are u can either fit an oil breather filter or get a pipe with the same kinda fitting and put the induction kit on the end of the pipe |
got a bigger picture mate???
resize it please |
yeah...thats what im on about....are the oil filter breathers just like small cone filters??
|
hi, finally i have a picture,
you see the little thing goin into the rocker cover on the top right? with the yellow clips? what is that, because the pipe on the left has came of mine? want to know what it is called so i can replace it. cheers andy!! |
hi im looking at doing the same thing. i have my breather to go on the little pipe but what goes on that big fat rubber pipe at the back? and is there any other pipes? and is there any sensors in it?
|
you mean the big pipe going from the back of airbox to the other side of inlet?
if so i removed this and used an oil breather filter on the bit where it joins inlet manifold on the left and depending on what inductioin you get there maybe a joint coming off where you can put some hosing going from engine to filter or like said before you will need an oil breather filter if that makes sense lol |
thanks, so i have a piper x to put on which dosent have any joints coming off, so shall i just put a breather on both pipes that go into into the standard filter? breather on the pipe that comes out of the rocker cover and another breather on the big rubber pipe near the back of the filter?
