federal 595's the RS-R

just wanted to give a thumbs up on these ;)

Dave_P 1st October 2011 19:54

I sold my ones to a guy who does sprints, he wasn't keen on then but I suspect it was more down to the driver than the tyres...

sexy_gt 1st October 2011 20:06

yeah i got some on a car i bought wednesday, very happy, will be buying rather than the r888's

price/performance good value!

Mieran 1st October 2011 20:42

are they chunky like the 195/50/15 R888s? I remember reading someone was saying the RS-R are more like a 45 profile even though it says they're 50

MiniGibbo 1st October 2011 20:45

Aren't the 595 rsr's an inbertween tyre between road tyres and r rated, hence the price?

I was thinking of trying them as wet's..

Dave_P 1st October 2011 20:45

The 45 profile was a misprint on DT's website, they're not as chunky as R888's.

i can measure against r888 out of interest for you

they to look very podgie like r888 and id say sidewalls are equally as hard.

i have r1r as wet tyres, deep 8mm tread unlike r888, but the r1r sidewall is soft like a t1r! saying that not going to be as hard in wet so may be a benefit in the wet, damp id use r888 and day!
