Engine Mount and Bushes

at the moment i have powerflex, whats the next step up?

they both do a great job, just thinking of buying a few more goodies before i go away

bullit 4th September 2007 20:29

pugsport?

Yates 4th September 2007 20:32

not heard of them mate, i was thining group n, but wasnt sure how hard they are, not really arsed if it makes the car vibrate like, i like it like that

more unsure on bushes

gary_j 4th September 2007 20:42

Ive just fitted my group n engine mounts, the whole car now vibrates and is very loud, sounds louder than my pugsport exhaust!
Does seem to pull a little harder tho, better throttle response & better gear changes.

bullit 4th September 2007 20:51

you could use me as a mount

leeroybrown 4th September 2007 21:08

Yeah group n ones make the car vibrate a hell of a lot over the power flex ones

Get the Pugsport Group A ones..Be hardcore like me..:d

Direct from pugsport boutique it is very cheap tbh..

gary_j 5th September 2007 13:12

The group a & group n engine mounts are all the same apart from the lower gearbox mount. I bought the group a mounts from france then bought the group n lower gearbox mount from skip browns.Worked out about £80 cheaper than buying it all from the uk!

My point exactly..:y:

Ryan 5th September 2007 14:26

james you dont have groupA proper ones.

group A proper ones have rose joins and need to be welded to the shell.

Ryan 5th September 2007 14:29

this is what you will have james.
