What the hell
Just getting quotes from Bell And Elephant, who are awesome insurers for guys going onto their own policies from the quotes ive been getting.
Anyway, ive been fiddling with the details, and if you state the car is garaged overnight its 60 quid more than if you say its parked in the street or on a drive. This makes no sense to me, any ideas? |
more????
thats just speacial. |
And its cheaper if you dont have an engine immobiliser...
|
Direct line charge more if you have locking wheel nuts. No idea where the logic in that is
|
whattt.
i said i had the best alarm and ive got sod all. |

that is a pretty good point.
but the garage one doesnt make any snese at all |
Only longshot theory i can cook up for that one is that if its in a garage they might break into the garage and steal it cus theyve already done in the garage door.
But if they see a saxo in the streets theyll just laugh at it and carry on till they find a beemer |
they also charge more if you have a big brake conversion. its because the see it like youve got bigger brakes because your going to be driving faster, just like the locking wheel nuts, they tink uve got them because your wheels are worth loads.
fookin stupid i know |
what the fuck. thats utter bollocks
i say ring them and ask the fuckers |
omg your right, just took off engine imobilser and put it on the street and it dropped nearly 100 quid! WTF
|
just dropped the market value by £1 (1000 to 999) and the priemum dropped by 50 quid:D
|
Haha what a joke!
Bell and Elephant bring up good quotes, though they only count if you pay up front. Got quoted £948 on my Furio a while back TPFT, But worked out at £1380 if i paid monthly! |
