can you not over use polish though so that it damages the paint work?

you don't have to put loads of polish at one time take your time when polishing, putting sealent on and waxing.

mattchewone 5th November 2007 23:01

Which is why you only use it once every 6months matey! Great minds think alike Saxoboy07!

saxo_jim 5th November 2007 23:03

am i right in saying waxing can be done as often as needed?

mattchewone 5th November 2007 23:04

It can but would be a waste. Worth topping up every few months but over doing it is just a waste mate.

waxing, polishing and sealent on your car can be done every week if your doing by hand, if by machine i think about twice a month.

isn't two layers at one day intervals good for preparation for the winter?

two layers of wax is good for winter put one wax on in the first day after washing polishing putting sealent on and then the wax then wait till the next day and you can add another layer of wax.
