The Best .. Inner Wheel Restorer
Token the alloys off and i discovered how stubborn this dirt is layered on! Ive tried the usual wonder wheels etc, that does the outside which are clean but the inside ... its thick dirt thats molded on the wheel. Brake dust and gerenal crap.
Whats the best stuff to get this off without damaging the wheel surface? |
de greaser leave for about 5 mins wash off
spray more on and adjitate then rinse keep doing that until happy |
I used oven cleaner.
Seriously... Did a good job. |
Once you get it off, get yourself some poorboys wheel sealant, and it wont happen again, as long as you wash them on a fairly regular basis:y:

oven cleaner lol? loving it mate.
Where do i get good de greaser? |

Meg's Wheel Brightner, swear by the stuff for insides of alloys. Makes it a 10 minute job.

Cool thanks guys, will try some of these products :)
Main reason is i'm painting them after i do this. While im here ... White is the colour i've been wanting for some time, what contrast of white would look the best against black paintwork? |

Cheers i wasn't to sure at first but now i've thought about it, it could look nice. The badges are black but i'll take them off again and paint them white to, possibly do the shevrons at front to :)
|
Need to do mine but i got black painted inner rim so may be nasty using the oven cleaner lol
anyone knwo of a wheel sealant you can get from halfrauds etc poorboys from here - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels...nt/prod_9.html are out of stock etc |
Id leave halfords alone as I can highly recommend the poorboys stuff. People on here who have seem my car know my wheels look brand new, even though iv had them for nearly 10 months. Try www.PolishedBliss.com thats where i get my bits from:y:
