the saxo has been replaced

well time has come to be more practical with long motorawy journeys and a nipper on the way and probably change of job meaning alot of boot space needed, i was looking at golfs but a mondeo was more practical and this one that came up was the best option easily (mondeo zetec tddi 115bhp), tbh apart from the fact it isnt a small good looking motor inside is xtimes better than the sax it just feels like a nice car inside no rattles and well put together and pulls lovely at 1900 far easier and better to drive on the motorway like, will miss the fun factor probably of the sax being small but the time came to step outside the box,

the sax did me well i must admit i slated saxos since i got me liscence all i heard was they fall apart, i got one because i needed a cheap run about due to a claim on a car, and it has done me lovely i think its just a case of finding one that hasnt been abused or neglected tbh

I no what you mean about the bigger car and the lack of rattles inside. My girlfriend has got a Toyota Avensis and i have a saxo, it looks great inside. She gets an Audi A3 in january though cant wait for that.

I like Mondeo's, seem to be decent cars. Good stuff :)

iii didnt really wanna take the step to a big car, i wanted a vectra 03 reg think they can look smart, but a mondeo is realllly cheap considering what you get and looked into problems and it seems solid its a tddi only had them for 2 years then they brought the common rail diesel tdci out whih is prenound for having ejector problems whcih cost around 500 quid to fix straight away, feels weired driving it but alot better than i expected, thought it would be grim terrible and id be sick but it does the job, and no cambelt is a bonus
