Basically sat next to a computer all day in a room with no music is driving me mad. anyway came across the mighty Winamp which now features streaming from home to any pc, mobile and other shite like a ps3.

so now im going to stream my music to my work computer.

i've been able to stream music over the internet for quite a while with windows media encoder (does audio and video). Not really a new thing tbh....

anyone know how to do it to a mobile phone, within your home network?

a mate of mine made a program like that around 4 years ago and used to stream it off his pc at home into work so we had stuff to listen to

So is uit a plug-in or just as standard now in winamp? you need to seperate installers? One server other client etc?
