swirls red paint
 

my paint is quite bad for swirls looks like some jackass has abused it with auto carwashes its a 2001 red mondeo looks ok in the dark but light the swirling can be seen quite easy, any recommendations on what to use or only option to invest in a udc or pcp?

i wash it with the 2 bucket method using megs wash, or turtlewax, iv tried using a bit of turtlewax nanotech wax, or something and it didnt hide the swirling very well so unless theres something better for the colour red (the nanowax seems crap - didnt do alot on the vtr in blue either) or last ditch pcp or udm?

also wouldnt one of the machines of ebay, car polishers be just as good as the megs or pcp, maybe not as great but surely for 40-70£ you can go wrong where as megs is £150 which 9 times outa 10 your paying the extra 50% because of the brand?

give it ago by hand with some AG SRP followed by AG EGP and then a different wax. your looking to mask the swirls by hand so see how you get on and decide then if you want a polisher.
