ive not got a clue what he means mate

basically hes saying what size stud fitment is the wheel if it fits a saxo it will be 108 mate he just checking it fits the viechel ....so if it did come off a saxo say 108 fitment.

smiith 4th March 2008 19:25

and the 7 or 8 means are the wheels 7 or 8 inch wide.

185 or 195

185 is to do with the size of the tyre, not the wheel.

he is asking for the width of the wheel....... 7 or 8 inches?

the offset of the wheel....... the ET.......this should be stamped on the wheel somewhere e.g. ET15

and the stud pattern.......4x108 if they have come off a saxo.

furiomike 4th March 2008 19:41

the PCD of 4x108 is good. i dunno what it is but im guessing something to do with the bolt holes

a saxo wants at ET (or offset) of about 15 to 20. i think this is something to do with the gap between your car and inside of the wheel. if the ET number is too high like 30, i think you can use spacers to counter this.

7 or 8 is probably the width of the alloy wheel in inches. on a saxo i think youd usually use 6.5 or 7. either of which you could stick a 195mm tyre on.
