just realised my 16v engine is missing a crucial part.
whats the wheel called again.
that one is off my VTR, it fits but is it ok to use it ?

If its what i think your on about it should be fine because its just for the alternator belt aint it? :)

yea, doesnt do much else, just wanting to save a few pennies and avoid buying what i dont need.

yer crankshaft pulley mate, if its the same fitment then there will be no harm using it. it is only for the alternator belt, so yep defo go 4 it!

dont use a vtr one on a VTS, they run slightly different offsets - if you use a VTR one on a 16v, itll jump the belt and cut through it over a period of time.

Correct the std vts have a rubber bonded middle ( bit like a damper/ crush) they always break , If memory serves me correctly GMC do a solid one
