cheers guys, I just thought I ask coz I tried insurance quotes 2day for a laugh and was quite suprised actually with Elephant:

Clio V6 - £1700 fully comp

Golf R32 - £1250 fully comp

I'm paying just under £1200 for my saxo with Tesco at the mo, only if they had a saxo with 230 odd bhp as standard that thing would fly

Just make your own 230 bhp Saxo.
Ring GMC, get their supercharger kit, fit it, done.
Getting one of the above cars would be the smarter thing to do though.

havnt heard to much bout either but i have heard the clio isnt really "all that"... so based on thats GOLF GOLF GOLF!! "4......"

I think the clio has a slightly nicer looking body, but the interior in the Golf kicks ass over the clio's

the Golf would be more reliable i reckon!

tis true, though I did ave an old clio few years back and over the 2 years it didn't cause any greef atall, prob just lucky

my mates clio went to shite after 3yrs he had it from 00003 miles on the clock!!!
