Sending Item's... Couriers
 

Hi,

i sold an item to someone and the guy i sold it to has arranged the courier and i told him i wont be in until after 5pm...

but the guy has booked the collection of the item from me as all day... so chances are i aint going to be in when they come ?

what will happen ? does he need to rebook it ? or will they just come again later on ?

Give it to your builder mate, just make sure he gets some proof ;)

lol no got a new problem now... i was out til late last night (sisters birthday went for a meal blah, blah) so i didnt have a chance to pack and wrap up the item lol... so i need to do it later on today when i get home from work... otherwise i would have left it with the builder but the package isnt ready to be sent lol

depends on the courier.

they will either try to deliver tomorrow or leave a card asking you to collect it from their local depot.

haha get the builder to pack it up, haha jokes.

We they probs already been haha, or just go on your dinner hour or something mate? do you live far from work? get a relative/ neighbour to pack it for u?

haha they cant because it's in the back of my car lol... and i;m in it at work so no-one else can pack it except me, and i've already had my dinner :(

Get a relative to meat at your work pick it up, or pack it at work ring him and get him to pick it up there as he does work for the courier and wants the item

no relative is available to meet me at work.... and long story but half the package is at home and half in my boot lol... it's a full cat back exhaust system... the back box bit is in my boot and the rest already packaged up at home...

i know it doesnt make sense... but i sold it really quickly and the guy wants it asap so he's arranged everything for today because he wants it fitting at weekend so he's rushed everything and because i was busy last night i didnt have time to get everything sorted.

i just hope if they come round when i'm not there they will leave a card for me to ring them to arrange another time later on :)
