Please read...

This thread is dedicated to everyone who replied to Jul2VTR's thread, a cry for help.

I'd just like to start of by showing my appreciation to the users on this forum that realised Julie has a problem, quite a big one, and didn't make her feel worse than she did when she made the post. Hats off to you guys.

Now onto the stupid tits that thought it a good idea to rip the shit out of her family and her problems when she blatantly was asking for help.

A question for each of you: Were you born stupid?

Are you that insecure about yourself that you have to make someone else feel awful despite the fact that she is very much suffering from Post Natal Depression not to mention possible other problems. She was making a post, a cry for help and you ripped the living shit out of her.

To the person who posted a bottle of Cyanide, were you dropped on your head as a child? You do realise that when you're depressed, severely depressed, you think illogically about things and don't think of the consequences of any actions you may take. You could have easily pushed the poor lady into doing something I believe no one would want her to do.

Now onto the insensitive girls that decided to cause even more grief for her. If you know anything about yourselfs, being female, you'd realise that what you said was very insensitive. But that's not the half of it, if you had any idea what severe depression does to you, you would also know that what you said can rip the living shit out of you if suffering from depression and anxiety. Why knock someone down when they're already down? She asked for help from mothers that have children and have been through similar problems, not from 18 year old, immature girls who think they have the right to give opinions while they haven't actually been through half of what she is going through.

For the blokes, grow up and get some life experience you sick individuals. You're pathetic and need to realise others peoples feelings, even if it is a forum, it hurts.

The last thing I want to say. How good is your conscious? How would you feel if a couple of weeks in the future a thread was posted giving some very awful news that Julie was no longer with us. Well let me tell you something, all of you idiots would have been part of the reason, how do you feel about that? Could you live with yourself? Because the first thing I would do is go to the press, give all of your names (And trust me, I could find them) and detail everything you said. I'd have no shame in doing so because with the stuff you said, you had no shame either. Not to mention this forum would go down hill, so maybe the forum moderators need to think about punishing those that participated in the thread in an awful manner.

That's all.

See why the thread was made, but don't think it had to be made as we all know were this will leed tbh, and the thread wont last longer then 2 minutes, i tried to help her and alot of girld had to be cruel to be kind and thats whay happened, and she was happy about that! So feal the comments about the girls were abit strong and un-called for, you can't have people not taking notice when someone says they wish they never had there kid, fair enough she's suffering and will regret saying that when things get sorted, and fingers crossed they do!

But tbh think the thread is pointless!

Barry123 1st May 2008 13:17

no offence but if you've been through depression or dealing with it... why the hell are you off to amsterdam on drug binge?

"im not being funny" = "I am"

The thread wasnt reported by anyone. If people have a problem with what has been posted on the boards it should be reported straight away and a mod will pick it up.

Several times Julie (i think her name) said 'just forget it' but she still carried on talking to a selected few about the situation, hence why it was kept open.

When the post diverted to direct personal attacks i closed the thread.

The situation shes in and posting about it on a car forum where 95% of the members are male the situation was never going to be handled correctly. With the symptoms she has she should see a doctor and not expect any serious help from people that clearly know nothing about it.

'mmmkay?

craig180 1st May 2008 13:20

Wish I'd seen the thread tbh. I know what it's like for mothers suffering PND.

matt_vtr_15 1st May 2008 13:20

thats why i didnt post tbh i didnt know anything on the background and couldnt be constructive to the girl so i had nothing much to say but i stopped looking at the thread because it was as the post says above people trying to rip the shit of a girl who was in a vulbnerable position for some people who wanted to be e-bullies tbh

in a post which is so serious pisstaking is not needed

im with you dude!!!

scottyvts 1st May 2008 13:23

i know some people on hear were a bit harsh yeaterday, but you cant really have a go at people, becasue if she didnt want peoples opinions on the suject then mabey its not a very good idear to post her problam on a public forums. *mmature girls who think they have the right to give opinions while they haven't actually been through half of what she is going through.*

djawesome123 1st May 2008 13:24

I can see this turning into exactly the same type of thread tbh I have to agree with Leckie on this one because he is absolutely correct when he says "posting about it on a car forum where 95% of the members are male the situation was never going to be handled correctly"

Clouds_mate 1st May 2008 13:25

No body was 'ripping the shit' outa her. They were giving there opinions, but not knowing in firstperson what its like they may have seemed abit unreasonable. But this comes down to the OP making a thread about it on an open forum. You expect comments that might not help.

Like i said above. if they is something going on within the forum that you dont think is suitable report it.

There is no genuine reason as to why you're a twat tbh :p

Grown ups? Really? doesn't seem that way in the slightest. Please note I am referring to only those that I've been talking about in the initial post of this tread.

Strong yes, un-called for, no. Sorry Betty, you're a good person from what I have read on this forum but unless you've been through depression you wouldn't understand.

Not a drug binge, more of a celebration. I haven't touched drugs in a long time and yes, I may have a smoke here and there, but it's casual, not a binge. And I've been through it, not dealing with it currently -- thank god because it's not pleasant to go through. However, I understand your points but understand this, I'm not going to get fucked on skunk, I'm going to relax and get away from everything. More importantly for Fee.

I and I am sure Julie appreciate the fact that you closed the thread. IF you read her posts she has seen a doctor, and if you asked for more information on the outcome you'd have found out that there is more to it that actually happened which has made her feel worse.

Can you really expect any more from an internet forum? The last thing Id do for depression is post about it ffs.
