what do they do.....

Amino's basically help the recovery of your muscles, and assist in building new muscle.
Whey proteins have amino acid profiles, and typically if you're consuming a good amount of protein you'll be getting a good amount of amino acids in you too. Few of my mates have supplemented them and said they didn't feel as sore the next couple of days. They aren't anything anabolic and won't add any mass as such but they're a useful thing to take. |
because im thinking about strating up the protein shakes i use to take these bt this time im thinking bout takeing the shakes creatine and mayb these amino acids what you reckon because last 2-3 months i have been training naturaly and have gained alot of mussle and have got alot bigger but seems to of all came to a hault at the moment

Give it a go mate, i'd always recommend taking protein after a workout at least... IMO taking a protein shake is a standard part of training and definitely doesn't put you into the 'un natural' category.
Go on myprotein.co.uk or bulkpowders and get some whey protein, which itself will have a full amino acid profile. They do really good prices on there. If you want to add extra aminos, its a good idea to add them to your post workout shake. As for creatine, for some it works, for others it does nothing. But take that however it recommends the serving etc, you can also get it from the above two websites at very good prices. CEE is a newer and apparently better version of Creatine (as opposed to monohydrate)... |
yeh cheers mate im just worried that takeing alot of these shakes will get em fat haha im training my nuts of 5 times a week and eating a healthy diet too
|
protein shakes will not make you fat at all mate.... i guarantee you that
Whey protein has a super high biological value, meaning your body will find use for 99% of what your consuming... Weight gain/mass shakes are totally different, but you don't need to worry about them. If anything they'll help you stay lean and have better muscle recovery :) |
