matching his specs i'd probably say some kinda golf
but i'd agree with cal and go for a zetec or VTR/S imo

arsenal_69r 29th June 2008 16:05

why does it have to be german lol?

SAXO-storrie 29th June 2008 16:06

VTS in first year of driving?

If you're just worried about getting robbed, move house tbh. Or a more serious answer, upgrade to Furio/VTR and get it de-locked or invest in a quality alarm. Or go for a polo/golf if you really want something german.

Josh_24 29th June 2008 16:12

i want it to be german cause of the build quality
budget will be about 2k
need to sell the saxo 1st!
i was thinking about an early polo mk2/3 or a mk 2 golf
i need it too be cheap to insure and cheap to run
i only do part time hours so only get about 7/800 a month to live off

danzman1991 29th June 2008 16:12

Polo..

Josh_24 29th June 2008 16:18

im going to have a scan on piston head now see if i can see anything
and tbh i wont get alot for the saxo
its done quite a few miles

Danr 29th June 2008 16:18

Polo Gti would suit the bill perfectly but budget of £2k, chances are it will be high mileage.

where the hell do you work and what do you class as part time?
7/800 a month is loads imo
i'd really upgrade if i were you, maybe to a westy or furio
fuck german cars, shitroen ftw :D

Josh_24 29th June 2008 16:28

i work at tesco during the week then a night club on satdays
oh and that 7/800 is if i have a good month
if i have an average month its about 6/700 a month
i saw a load of veedubs going on a meet on friday night and ill be honest i nearly got hard when i saw a eurod polo and a eurod mk2 golf
so thats kinda what swayed me

ah ok i was gonna say 700-800 on a part time job is good, but you got 2 so its a difference ;)
why dont you save for like 6 months, then get a decent car for 4-5k or something
