quiick info question on bucket seats and subframes

i am looking to sell my front two gti leather seats for 2 bucket seats

i want leather buckets, and its quite hard to find with saxo subframes

can i buy ANY leather buckets and attach saxo subframes to them, or do they need to certain types of seat

thanks rob

I think you will struggle to find buckets which mount to the standard subframes unfortunately.

You could maybe get some of the universal frames, or fabricate thesaxo frames onto the new seats.

But hopefully the new seats will come with their own frames!:y:

How about getting your leather seats rebuilt, i.e.get the wings extended and the back reshaped then recovered. This way they will be one off's and it'll probably cost a bit less!! worth a thought!

I have leather buckets, check my prog thread for pics.

They're Sparco jobbies on half standard subframes, half custom fabricated by my mates dad who's an engineer.

You can bodge em onto standard frames quite easy just the seat sits very high.
