Good find mate, looks clean and unabused

mjLvts 15th July 2008 20:57

First things first I was goin to do a service.. but in the book it had just had one. And the guy said it had the day before.

but i thort i would check it had anyway... so i did an oil change anyway and to amazement the oil was nice and fresh. the Air filter was brand new.The cam belt was brand new aswell and the disc's pads were all brand new :) so i was happy with that, and left it at that.

they was slight knock on the front. so i changed the 2 front anti roll bar linkages.

and the n/s/f bottom arm as the ball joint had a lot off play on it. And for the price it was well worth just getting the arm than having the mess on pressing the ball joint in the arm its self. With disscount from work was hardly nothing.

and to add to my findings the front and rear end had a full set of powerflex bushes :D

Liking your saxo alot buddy:y: i would just lower it.

mjLvts 15th July 2008 21:20

like i said suttle mods nothing major :) ull see it anyhow. thanks tho wayne :)

i had a 106 gti before and that was very nice ... i want the preformance to be some where near as well. and then improve further,

gti ran a 14.7 at york race way. and a 0-60mph at 6.3 with bald tyers which didnt help.
was an impressive day..

went down 6 times... beat an:

astra van Redtop
dodge charger
106 gti which had been cammed and chipped. ( mine had not)
focus st Twice

and got beat by an RST series 1. running a cossy lump and 4WD

if anyone wants the times of the runs. ask ill dig em out and post them up :)
