another heat wrap/manifold question
 

rite i started heat wrapping my mani today only thing is im bit worried it could crack from what i have read, my mani is a 4-2-1 s/s sports decat, will it crack or should it be ok :y:

many people have them wrapped, they can crack, i've seen it happen in the past, But only if the metal has any points to which a hot spot can occur.

example of that would be a sharp point or edge inside.

Stainless mani's dont tend to crack, unless its for the reasons said, its mild steel ones which do. :)
